This one's going to have to be a mini-meetup. I'll be at DBA (41 1st Ave) at 8pm on 9/26/08. Have a glass of Laphroaig on me!

I'll be wearing a black Laphroaig rugby shirt.

We'll just be drinking from the bar, so don't bring a bottle to this one.

http://www.standrewsnyc.com... - One of the best collections of Scotch I've seen but not much bourbon wise. DBA has alot but they are always out of half the stuff on their list. Angel's Share doesn't accept groups of bigger than four usually.

Hmm,I don't know where St. Andrews is. Brandy Library is always a good bet, but I agree about calling ahead. Also Angel's Share on 3rd ave & 9th(?) has quite a few nice scotches. And I've heard good things about Gingerman in Murray Hill.

I'd suggest Brandy Library or St. Andrews. For Brandy, we should probably call ahead if we want to go there.

Finally!!! A meetup on a night I can come! I haven't been to one of these in months. Let me know if anybody wants to pool money for something pricey, otherwise I'll bring a nice bottle. (And we can certainly meet at a good bar; DBA or Brandy Library?)
